7th Generation · Major Update Announcement
Panlongge 7th Generation officially launched on September 15, 2024, running Java 1.21.3 vanilla. Although it went live a bit later than expected due to some uncontrollable factors, it's finally here. And since it took so long, there's naturally a lot of new content. There's too much to cover everything, so here's a brief overview of the core changes:
New Equipment System: The first five tiers' progression path is significantly extended, with equipment quality added on top of tiers, plus equipment reforging and forging experience systems. Tier 3-5 warrior and archer weapons can switch branches after maxing out quality.
Dungeon Updates: All vanilla dungeons have been modified to varying degrees, with difficulty options added to all dungeons except Sacred Mountain.
Class Adjustments: Alchemist renamed to Array Master, alchemist furnace usage reworked, talismans added as new weapons — be sure to read the tutorial!
Spirit Qi System: Added spirit qi system — spirit qi is the Array Master's second life force, essential for both healing and attacking. For warriors and archers, uses are TBD.
Alchemy System: Removed magic pill types, removed some pills, and rewrote all pill consumption methods.
Gathering System: Added gathering system — remember to right-click gathering points, not left-click.
Armor System: Rewrote armor system. New armor formula: Damage Reduction = (1-(50/50+Armor))100%. Example: With 200 armor, Damage Reduction = (1-(50/50+200))100% = (1-0.2)*100% = 80% damage reduction.
Racial Attributes: All racial attributes rewritten, with racial attribute upgrades added.
Health Display: Server includes toro health display built-in, no client mod needed. Since the health system was rewritten, mod-provided health display won't work correctly.
Mod Compatibility: Due to shader changes, some visual mods (like OptiFine) may cause display glitches. If textures appear stretched, try disabling related mods.
